RANSOM

Navajo Indian Reservation baby, coming 2-year-old sorrel gelding. He’s put together like one should be. Halter broke, picks up all four feet, stands for the farrier like a gentleman, loads and unloads well, easy to handle, stands tied all day like a big boy, loves grooming, he’s little shy to catch but warms up fast to the idea and gives in. I can’t imagine how beautiful this boy is going to grow up to be.

ELLIE

Navajo Indian Reservation baby, coming 2 year old dun mare. She’s halter broke, LOVES attention, easy to catch, easy to handle, ponies well, learning to load better. The PERFECT kids/ team training project. Still young. We believe she will mature to 14+hh. She holds her own with big horses, but gentle with the younger babies.

Dude

Meet Dude, a handsome 5 year old dun gelding with training in both ranch work and cattle herding. This gelding has a solid foundation in roping and in handling cattle, making him an invaluable asset to any ranch operation. He’s currently with professional trainer and has solid 90 days riding. Dude’s little watchy but a dependable nature ensures he can tackle any task, whether it's herding cattle or long days out on the range. He stands at 14.1hh and still growing. WTL, with a great handle, Dude rides out on his own. Crosses anything in front of him. Loads well, stands for farrier, stands tied, easy to catch, Dude still has a guard up and will need a confident handler and rider. This boy has the rest of his life ahead of him and will only get better with time. Dude will finish with his pro training mid-November and come back to the rescue to be desensitized with SMHR method, riding and exposure! Chief * Adopted!

Meet Chief, a well-trained 12-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter, standing at 14.2hh. Chief is a great trail horse with a calm and easy-going demeanor, although he can be a bit shy at first. His training on the trail makes him a reliable and enjoyable companion for all your outdoor adventures. Chief loves to explore new paths and thrives in the peacefulness of nature. His smooth gaits ensure a comfortable ride, making him perfect for both leisurely trail rides and more challenging excursions. Whether you're an experienced rider or just starting out, Chief's steady and dependable nature will make every ride a pleasure. We have had every level of rider on him and he’s the same horse every time. Chief has wonderful ground manners. He’s a gentleman for the farrier, but needs patience. He will stand tied all day, loads and unloads from the trailer well. He can be a bit of a pull to catch but wouldn’t put in the hard to catch category. He loves to be hosed off and groomed. Over all we would call him easy to be around. Gentle. Chief is looking for a loving forever home where he can continue to share his trail-riding expertise. With a bit of patience and understanding, he will become a loyal and affectionate companion. 18 year old Quarter Horse mare, 15hh. The kind that can sit and pull out of the pasture and go. She’s been there and done that. Nothing phases this mare. She’s kind, gentle and easy going. Walk trot and lope with ease. Knows some playday events, loves to trail ride, traffic safe, excellent ground manners, stands for farrier ( currently has shoes, fronts with pads due to flat footed), easy to catch, loves attention and has years left to teach your kids, grandkids, brothers / sisters kids and your neighbors kids to ride. Red LOVES to have a bath and be hosed off. She’s what we can the “using kind”. Safe for anyone. She’s looking for her forever home where she can be enjoyed.

15 year old bay roan QH mare, 15.2hh, built like one should be. Luna needs intermediate rider and more exposure to things and lots of wet saddle pads. Adoptable to a trainer’s home only!
